Children's Scene Circle Ramadan Short Film Festival in Bangladesh | চিলড্রেন সিনে সার্কেলের রমাদান শর্টফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যাল

The 'Ramadan Short Film Festival' was held for the second time in the Children's Cine Circle event in Bangladesh. Ramadan short film competition 'Ramadan shortfilm Festival' was organized on Thursday (May 16th, 2009) in the morning by the Bangladesh Women Association's Auditorium in Bailey Road. Cine Circle convener Mr. Oli Ibrahim, who was welcomed by the Cine Circle Manager Mr. Abdur Rauf, welcomed the festival.

Prominent film producer Mr. Zakaria Habib Pilot was present as the chief guest at the program. Nayeem Al Islam Mahin, media personality of prominent playwright and lyricist, as special guest, councilor Ahsan Habib of Bangladesh Child Welfare Council and Chairman of the Childhood Foundation MAK Shahin Chowdhury. In this festival, a total of 16 short films are collected in the festival. The competition was completed by drama actor Ismail Hossain and popular child dramatist Muhammad Iqbal Javed.

The 12 short films selected are shown in this festival. Short Film won the Best Film Award, jointly produced by Dishari Film, short film 'Dishari', and Jhingefull produced short film 'Positive Thinking'. Besides, Shish Diner, the producer of Jhingeful's 'Positive Thinking', Akbar Hossain Nayeem, short film 'Sugorika Cultural Academy', short film 'Best Discount', and Shish Dinar, creator of 'Positive Thinking', won the award as the best producer. | চিলড্রেন সিনে সার্কেলের আয়োজনে দ্বিতীয়বারের মতো অনুষ্ঠিত হলো ‘রমাদান শর্টফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যাল’। বৃহস্পতিবার (১৬ মে, ২০১৯) সকালে ঢাকার বেইলি রোডস্থ বাংলাদেশ মহিলা সমিতির অডিটোরিয়ামে আয়োজিত হয় শিশুকিশোরদের রমাদান কেন্দ্রিক স্বল্পদৈর্ঘ্য চলচ্চিত্র প্রতিযোগিতা ‘রমাদান শর্টফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যাল’। সিনে সার্কেলের ব্যবস্থাপক আব্দুর রউফের পরিচালনায় উক্ত ফেস্টিভ্যালে স্বাগত কথা রাখেন সিনে সার্কেলের আহ্বায়ক অলী ইব্রাহীম।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট চলচ্চিত্র প্রযোজক জাকারিয়া হাবিব পাইলট। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশিষ্ট নাট্যকার ও গীতিকার মিডিয়া ব্যক্তিত্ব নাঈম আল ইসলাম মাহিন, বাংলাদেশ শিশুকল্যাণ পরিষদের কাউন্সিলর আহসান হাবিব ও শৈশব ফাউন্ডেশনের চেয়ারম্যান এমএকে শাহিন চৌধুরী। উৎসবমুখর এই আয়োজনে প্রতিযোগিতায় সর্বমোট ১৬টি শর্টফিল্ম জমা হয়। এ প্রতিযোগিতার বিচারকাজ সম্পন্ন করেছেন নাট্যাভিনেতা ইসমাইল হোসেন ও জনপ্রিয় শিশুনাট্য নির্মাতা মুহাম্মদ ইকবাল জাভেদ।

এবারের উৎসবে নির্বাচিত ১২টি শর্টফিল্ম দেখানো হয়েছে। শর্টফিল্মগুলোর মধ্য থেকে সেরা ফিল্মের পুরস্কার পায় যৌথভাবে দিশারী ফিল্ম প্রযোজিত শর্টফিল্ম ‘দিশারী’ এবং ঝিঙেফুল প্রযোজিত শর্টফিল্ম ‘পজিটিভ থিংকিং’। এছাড়া সেরা অভিনেতার পুরস্কার অর্জন করে ঝিঙেফুল প্রযোজিত ‘পজিটিভ থিংকিং’-এর শিশু অভিনেতা আকবর হোসাইন নাইম, সেরা গল্পের জন্য সাগরিকা কালচারাল একাডেমি প্রযোজিত শর্টফিল্ম ‘২০% ডিসকাউন্ট’ এবং সেরা নির্মাতা হিসেবে পুরস্কার অর্জন করেন ‘পজিটিভ থিংকিং’-এর নির্মাতা শীশ দিনার।
